International Women's Day

On the 8th of March our Grade 6 and Grade 10 prefects from the outreach department distributed strong powerful notes and beautiful flowers to all our female staff members to remind them how thankful we are for each and every strong woman who helps us grow and develop.

Nevertheless Grade 1 celebrated the International Women’s Day with a story, discussion, and art. They learned about the history of the day and that people all over the world celebrate women’s day and the important roles they play. Everyone shared significant women in their lives and talked about why they mattered to them (Mom’s, teachers, mentors, sisters, and friends). The boys drew a picture for a woman important to them, and the girls drew a picture of a dream they have for their future.
