SABIS® Schools in Kurdistan Supports Wan Earthquake Survivors

Off-Campus Swimming and Football Classes
The International School of Choueifat-Suleimaniah is offering an enhanced Physical Education program this year. The school is scheduling off-campus swimming and football lessons. With these off-campus lessons combined with the regular P.E. lessons offered, ISC-Suleimaniah aims to foster the development of young students’ physical and technical skills with emphasis on enjoyment, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

Field Trip
Providing ISC-Suleimaniah students with practical education and beneficial, real-life experiences, the school organizes a field trip to LaFarge International Safety Training Center for students every Saturday.

The SABIS® Student Life Organization™ at ISC-Suleimaniah works hand in hand with the staff as one team. Members of the SABIS® SLO™ are appointed by the administration for their competence rather than elected by the students based on popularity. This organization seeks to:

  • Promote high social and moral values
  • Develop personality
  • Develop communication and management skills and
  • Involve students in organizing sports and aesthetic activities
